ARUWE was started in 1992 with a small group of committed and dedicated youngsters trained in professional social work and it was registered in 2000 to promote the development of weaker sections of the society, particularly the deprived women,children and the aged.

Day Care Centre
Aruwe has a day care centre, which caters to the needs of the destitute elders, who are abandoned by their family members and who seek help and love.At present 30 elders with them for whom they provide food,medical facilities and cothing.

Educational Sponsorship for the children
Aruwe focuses on 130 children who come from a low socio-economical background. They always give an extra care to the single parent and school dropout children. Aruwe takes care of their Educational needs like school fees,notebooks and uniforms.

Tuition Centre
To witness the little help offered towards education,Aruwe has started a Tuition centre for the children.They have appointed 3 teachers to monitor the progress of each child.A special attention is given to the children who are weaker in studies.

Night meal for the deprived children
From Aruwe tuition centre, they have identified 30 children who go to bed without food.They are mainly from a low socioeconomical background.Aruwe provides food at night for the deprived children.

For Women
Aruwe does not turn away any women who come to its doors seeking help.Their husbands harass majority of these women physically and psychologically.Aruwe with the help of professionally trained counselors,strives to put together the broken pieces and thus rebuild the lives of these pathetic and desperate women.

Community Program
Aruwe organize community awareness programs for the local slum dwellers.They also conduct general health camp and eye screening camp. Referral services are also rendered to people who come to their organization seeking help.
